Brand Strategy
Effective branding begins with getting clear on your strategy and research of the market, not colors and typefaces.
Strategy answers the question: what sort of brand are you?
During the strategy phase, we look at local, regional, and even national competitors.
But we also need to figure out who you are as well.
To use an analogy, if you're shopping for cookies at the store, you're not looking for pie, cake, babka, or donuts.
But you could be chocolate chip, peanut butter, macadamia, sandwich cookie, etc.
The same is true when it comes to branding.
Knowing what you are not is key to being who you are. (Sounds very Yoga Berra, doesn't it?)
